#MeTU are a group of women and non-binary trade unionists committed to ending sexism, sexual harassment and violence, and bullying in the labour movement. Over the past two years, sisters bravely speaking out accompanied by audacious direct action have led to the exposure of a misogynistic, toxic culture at the top of our trade unions, where women are harassed, assaulted and bullied – and then forced out of the movement when they dare to complain, often being pressurised into signing non-disclosure agreements to silence them.

This benefit comes at a crucial point in the campaign, with staff at three trade unions – GMB, TSSA and UCU preparing for strike action to change this culture once and for all. MeTU needs money to build the struggle. This is the time to reclaim our unions, put them in control of the members rather than white men in power on six figure salaries, and build a movement fighting fit to confront the multiple crises we face in society.
